Molecular Design Meets Self- Assembly: Pathways to Organic Electronic Devices
This public one-day workshop brings together researchers working at the interface of molecular design, supramolecular organization, advanced materials characterization, and organic electronics. Invited experts and members of the STEEP UP consortium will present and discuss recent developments in the design of π-conjugated dyes, their organization in the solid state, and their integration into functional electronic and optoelectronic devices.
The workshop marks the conclusion of the M-ERA.NET research project STEEP UP, which combined supramolecular modelling, organic synthesis, advanced characterization, and organic photovoltaic device studies to develop organic dyes with tailored optical and electronic properties. Beyond presenting selected results from the project, the event will provide a broader forum for discussing current challenges and emerging concepts in the development of new materials for organic electronics.
Researchers, students, and all colleagues interested in molecular materials, self-assembly, spectroscopy, and organic electronic devices are warmly invited to participate.
