LPM Conference of the Japan Laser Processing Society (JLPS)
The latest developments and political decisions taken worldwide show that a meeting with the scope and international participant structure of a Laser Precision Microfabrication Symposium at the end of June in Dresden, Germany is not possible. The health of all participants, exhibitors and employees and the further containment of the COVID-19 virus is our greatest concern.
Accordingly the LPM2020 will be held as a virtual symposium on the WWW only.
LPM is the world’s number one meeting of the laser user community where the most advanced developments and recent trends in laser application for fine and precise fabrication of diverse materials are discussed between industry, research and academia.
We hope that the LPM 2020 Symposium will continue the tradition to serve a stimulating forum for the international exchange of knowledge and closer collaboration between specialists. The aim of this Symposium is to provide a forum for discussion of fundamental aspects of laser-matter interaction, the state-of-the-art of laser materials processing, and topics for the next generation of fundamental scientists, end users and laser manufacturers.
All participants of the LPM2020 still have the opportunity to participate in the proceedings of the Journal of Laser Micro / Nanoengineering free of charge: https://lpm2020.inventum.de/index.php?id=8643
Registration for the virtual LPM is still possible and the submission of poster contributions has been extended until 1. June 2020.
