Microelectronic – Front-End Module (FEM) (HORIZON)
The grant focuses on the development of a comprehensive Front-End Module (FEM) design to address the FR3 frequency range (7 to 15 GHz, with possible extension to 24 GHz) for cellular and Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) scenarios. It aims to achieve ITU IMT 2030 specifications, including enhanced data rates, improved spectral efficiency, and 50% energy savings for mobile transmission systems, leveraging European technologies and ensuring compatibility with downstream Transfer to Chip JU Pilot lines.
