SmartEEs cluster partners DSP Valley (BE/NL), Minalogic (FR) and OES (DE) are proud to announce the first online session bringing SMEs, Midcaps, Labs and RTOs together around Flexible Electronics Business Opportunities in healthcare. In three sessions spread across January and March 2021, we invite you to meet with potential partners through visionary key notes, pitching sessions and curated matchmaking.

We invite you to participate in the European project SmartEEs2. Do you have competences, services or production capacities in flexible and portable electronics? Then place them on the marketplace and receive up to 60T€ for making your expertise available in cooperation with new customers. Do you have an innovative idea with integrated flexible and portable electronics? Then apply for an application experiment and receive up to 100T€ financial support.

The next cut-off is 15 January 2021. In preparation we offer 2 identical web seminars in German, in which the SmartEEs2 project, the funding conditions and the application modalities are presented in detail.

Upon registration you will receive the free link to participate in the web seminar.

05 August 2020 — INURU – successful ‚application experiment‘ in the first application round
After the evaluation process of the first round of applications, 10 application experiments were selected. The OES member INURU was able to assert itself in the packaging category. Congratulations!

27 July 2020 — 2nd Cut-off for ‚Application Experiments‘
The call for the ‚Application Experiments‘ goes into the second round. SmartEEs2 is organising an open call for application experiments with the aim of helping innovative companies to digitise their businesses and access new markets by integrating flexible and portable electronic technologies (FWE) into advanced products / product and service ranges.

17 April 2020 — SmartEEs2 supports in the fight against Covid-19
The partners of SmartEEs2 promote flexible and portable electronics as solutions in the field of prevention, diagnostics and therapy to fight Covid-19 and other viruses. Therefore, two projects on this topic will be funded in the 1st call for proposals.

All interested companies are invited to present their ideas until June 5, 2020.

11 March 2020 — First SmartEEs2 call for proposals for ‚Application Experiments
SmartEEs2 is organising an open call for application experiments with the aim of helping innovative companies to digitise their businesses and access new markets by integrating flexible and portable electronic technologies (FWE) into advanced products / product and service ranges.

01 January 2020 — SmartEEs2 Kick-off
On January 1, the continuation of the Horizon2020 SmartEEs2 project started, in which OES is now also a partner. The aim of the project is to integrate flexible electronics into novel products. OES supports both technology suppliers and users of flexible electronics.

Brief information

Background

The European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme will fund SmartEEs2, a European project. SmartEEs2 positions itself as a follow-up initiative to the SmartEEs Digital Innovation Hub, which has created a strong technological platform for OLAE (Organic large area electronics), and is now focusing on the use of the same technologies in the application of flexible and wearable electronics (FWE).

Objectives and approach

The objective of the programme is to help European industry to strengthen its competitive advantage by helping innovative companies to integrate flexible and wearable electronics technologies.
