Workshop: “smart data glasses in clinical practice”

The EKFZ for Digital Health is researching the use of smart data glasses in everyday clinical practice in cooperation with the start-up tooz. The research project aims to develop a system that makes data available to hospital staff digitally and on the move via data glasses. The goal: using augmented reality to provide relevant information at the right time and in the right place, mobile and digital. This can relieve the clinical staff in their daily work and increase the quality of care and patient safety.

With the tooz workshop we offer the opportunity to test the smart data glasses and to discuss the various possible uses in an interdisciplinary discourse. Our team from the Faculty of Computer Science will help us to transfer your ideas to the smart glasses in the future.

We are looking for participants from all disciplines: Nursing, physiotherapy, doctors, research, laboratories, logistics, etc., who would like to provide input on the developement of smart data glasses for everyday clinical use. In this three-hour workshop, we are looking for your ideas on the use of augmented reality in the clinic.
