The German SME INAVET will present smarttrains.das, a driver advisory system for energy and cost-efficient driving while maintaining punctuality in rail traffic. It gives recommendations for the optimal driving mode depending on the operational situation in real time. The Turkish enterprise Bozankaya will present the Bozankaya Battery Tram. With the high voltage battery application integrated into the tram drive system, catenary-free drive is provided. Both companies are finalists of the ERCI Innovation Awards in 2021 and Bozankaya is the winner in the “Best Large Enterprise” category.
