Physics Laboratory Assistant / Physical-Technical Assistant (m/f/d)

Beschreibung

Only 3 years young, Dresden-based beeOLED GmbH is researching an innovative approach to substantially increase the efficiency and lifetime of OLED-displays. We develop, synthesise and market fine chemicals, going the whole way from the beauty of early research directly to product placement on the world market in a short time. At beeOLED, experienced synthesis chemists, analytical chemists, physicists, laboratory technicians, engineers, project managers and patent experts work closely together in an international team to establish our new idea on the market as quickly as possible. Our customers are all manufacturers of displays for smartphones and televisions. Financially strong investors support us on our way. For our endeavour we are looking for support in the area of laboratory work with OLED deposition and test equipment.

We offer

Become an integral part of our start-up success story, the end product of which you will ultimately use every day yourself! Specifically, we develop novel dyes for OLED displays using classical methods of organic chemistry and metal organics. We are a dynamic, international and highly motivated team under experienced management with a very good working atmosphere and collegial interaction – experienced colleagues with very high professional competence are always ready to support. We manufacture our own test OLEDs in partially automated vacuum evaporation systems.
If desired and suitable, there are various opportunities for further development within our growing company. We offer an attractive salary, 30 vacation days, no shift work (or better ‚only day shifts‘) and more (e.g. free drinks).

  • Strong desire and ability to work in a team with physicists and engineers
  • Diligence in laboratory work and sample preparation as well as documentation
  • Sense of responsibility and reliability
  • Furthermore, punctuality and reliability as well as a precise, goal-oriented and independent way of working within a team characterise you
  • Very good communication skills in German and/or English language

Your Tasks

  • Independent execution of the preparation of complex OLED samples according to specifications
  • Preparation of equipment, substrates, masks and sources for OLED preparation
  • Post-processing of the samples (encapsulation, measurement, evaluation)
  • Regular maintenance of the equipment
  • Documentation of the work steps and the results
  • Collaboration in laboratory organisation and laboratory safety
  • Independent processing of smaller projects in case of appropriate qualifications
