At Senorics, we develop revolutionary NIR detector chips and sensor devices based on STM32 microcontrollers. The devices need firmware which drives the readout electronics for our sensor chips. The devices provide interfaces to USB, UART, BLE, and others. The connections are handled on OS level by a library written in C/C++.

Objectives and Tasks:

  • Firmware development for microcontrollers in our sensor devices in C/C++
  • Development of C/C++ interfaces for Windows and Linux for these sensor devices connected via USB, BLE, and other ports
  • Gather and analyze requirements
  • Find and design the target solution
  • Investigate current solutions and find and evaluate potential optimizations
  • Implement and test software solutions
  • Manage external development partners and review externally developed codes

Your Profile:

  • B.S. in Computer Science, Natural Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in development of embedded devices
  • 5+ years of experience in development of C/C++
  • Experiences in programming Windows and Linux to connect to our sensor devices
  • Experiences with IoT operating systems like FreeRTOS would be desirable
  • Some experiences in C# would be of additional advantage
  • Hands-on experience in agile practices
  • Experience in software development and building tools like GIT, Jira, CMake, etc.
  • Experience using CI tools such as Jenkins, Code Quality Control tools like Sonar, etc.
  • Working knowledge of software development practices and technologies
  • English (business fluent), German (at least basic)
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Providing and receiving honest, constructive feedback
  • A passion for learning and for helping others to learn
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical debugging skills
  • Effective communication skill with management, customers, and business stakeholders
