Business Development Manager (m/f/d)


At Senorics, we developed a disruptive sensor technology to non-destructively detect and quantify material compositions. Our vision is to make Material Sensing available to everyone. We are looking for a passionate sales manager who takes responsibility to build long-term relationships with B2B customers and to grow and scale Senorics in Europe, North America and Asia.

Objectives and Tasks:

Assess the market of Material Sensing and evaluate our new use cases and applications:

  • Identify and prioritize market requirements, translate them into value propositions together with other stakeholders
  • Engange with customers and partners during discovery meetings and provide support in realizing proof of concepts
  • Market research: Understand the competitive landscape and related technologies
  • Collect product feedback and new feature requests to determine new applications
  • Develop and communicate the application vision by successful and solution-oriented management of internal stakeholders’ input
  • Work closely with the Product Management, Sales and R&D team to develop long-term strategies
  • Product demonstrations, training and consulting

Your Profile:

  • Proven track record as a business development manager or product manager, with direct customer contact
  • Knowledge of and experience with market research
  • MBA or MSc in Chemistry, Engineering, Physics or related fields
  • Understanding of deep tech environments, preferably with background in spectroscopy
  • Good listener, able to identify customers’ needs and requirements
  • Solution-oriented and customer-focused
  • Strong diplomatic and communication skills – fluent in spoken and written English, German would be a plus
  • Proficiency with MS-Office
  • Highly reliable and organized, ability to work independently, team player
  • Driving license
  • Ability to travel on a regular basis to visit customers and partners
